For me, the three-month-study was a ridiculous "comedy" because for the first time I realized that sometimes dreams could not turn into reality when you did not really know what your goals were. Going abroad is a seemingly beautiful circle of honor or glory but if you do not understand where the center is you can never escape the round world.

So my so-called ''best'' friend lied to me, I was totally desprated not only for the breakup of our relationship but the mash of my paradise. Now, what I remembered was some pieces of awful memories that filled in my whole year of 1999.

Congratulations!

So glad to see that google created its own blogger espace.

Although I have another blog on MSN, I would like to express myself in foreign languages.

Believe me, I have never imgined that I have been learning so many languages: the beginning of my English study dated to 1988 when I was in premier school. Following the TV teaching lessons named "Ouyang Fasu speaks English", I got the initiation to the first foreign language. With the time that passed, English has always accompanied me as a friend at the debut, an interest during the class and a tool for my research and communication in my career. I cannot help saying that the passion for learning English will not be got rid of from my soul even if I am in difficult situations. Nevertheless, does English occupy our time too much?

As a super fan of "Friends", I am trying to know more about American culture and overcome the obstacles for my listening comprehension. Some notes for English study publicated on the Friends' fans websites made me astonished because they are all based on deep research on every episode of the comedy masterpiece. Evidently, Chinese people are crazy to English, which gives me not only a sudden great impression but a seemingly huge question: when will my mother tongue be popular throughout the world?

Last year, I wrote an article "The position of English will NOT change in the near future"( will be posted lately). It reflects more or less my pessimistic viewpoints about the popularity of Chinese language. English has become an international language which dominates in all the aspects of our everyday life. A great amount of English words have been absorbed into other languages though the former itself is a big borrower. It is relatively necessary to say that the tendence of globalisation should have pushed us into a strange phenomenon: speaking English is the perfect demonstration of grace. But few people could get a definitive answer to the most important question: for what we study English?
